In Armenia, as of 11:00 on 8 June, a total of 13,325 cases of the coronavirus disease have been confirmed, of which 4,099 have recovered.
This was stated on the website of the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the RA Ministry of Health.
Currently, 8,943 infected individuals are receiving actual treatment for the coronavirus disease. In total, 70,000 tests have been conducted. Thus, we have 195 new confirmed cases of the coronavirus disease and 85 recoveries.
At the laboratory of the RA Ministry of Health’s National Center for Disease Control and Prevention, which carries out the bulk of coronavirus disease testing, disinfection work was conducted on 7 June. Due to this, the test results for 8 June were fewer.
Eleven new deaths from the coronavirus disease have been recorded (the total number of deaths reached 211).
The RA Ministry of Health reported that the deceased patients were men aged 61, 65, 80, 87, 88 and women aged 64, 70, 63, 88, 79, 52. All had accompanying chronic diseases.
The total number of deaths from other causes is 72.
