As of 11:00 a.m. on 9 June, a total of 13,675 cases of the coronavirus disease have been confirmed in Armenia, of which 4,451 have recovered.
This was stated on the website of the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the RA Ministry of Health.
At this time, 8,933 infected individuals are actually receiving treatment for the coronavirus disease. In total, 71,405 tests have been conducted. Thus, we have 350 new confirmed cases of the coronavirus disease and 352 recoveries.
Six new deaths from the coronavirus disease have been recorded (the total number of deaths reached 217).
The RA Ministry of Health announced that the deceased patients were men aged 61, 46, 59, 79 and women aged 83, 75. All had accompanying chronic diseases.
Two more deaths were recorded in which the patient tested positive for the coronavirus infection, but the cause of death was another disease. The total number of such cases is 74.
