World Bank Projects Poor Indicators for Armenia

The World Bank has forecast in its June report on “Global Economic Prospects” that Armenia’s GDP will contract by 2.8% in 2020. The June forecast notes that Armenia’s economy is expected to return to growth as early as 2021 — World Bank analysts anticipate that GDP growth in Armenia will reach 4.9% by the end of next year.
