As of 11:00 on 2 July, a total of 26,658 cases of the coronavirus disease have been confirmed in Armenia, of which 15,036 have recovered.
This was stated on the website of the National Centre for Disease Control and Prevention of the RA Ministry of Health.
At this time, 11,010 infected individuals are actually receiving treatment for the coronavirus disease. In total, 115,765 tests have been conducted.
Thus, we have 593 newly confirmed cases of the coronavirus disease and 473 recoveries.
Six new deaths from the coronavirus disease have been recorded (the total number of deaths reached 459).
The RA Ministry of Health reported that the deceased patients were a 63-year-old man and women aged 79, 68, 62, 72 and 78. Except for the last one, all the others had accompanying chronic diseases.
Five more deaths were recorded in which the patient tested positive for the coronavirus infection, but the cause of death was another disease. The total number of such cases is 153.
