As of 11:00 a.m. on 18 August, a total of 41,846 cases of the coronavirus disease have been confirmed in Armenia, of which 34,982 have recovered.
This was stated on the website of the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the RA Ministry of Health.
At this moment, 5,787 infected individuals are actually receiving treatment for the coronavirus disease. In total, 186,661 tests have been conducted.
Thus, we have 145 new confirmed cases of the coronavirus disease and 327 recoveries.
8 new deaths from the coronavirus disease have been recorded (the total number of deaths reached 832).
The RA Ministry of Health reported that the deceased patients were men aged 91, 71, 65, and 70, and women aged 82, 69, 84, and 79. All had underlying chronic diseases.
One more case was recorded in which patients tested positive for the coronavirus infection, but death occurred due to another disease. The total number of such cases is 245.
