In Armenia, as of 11:00 on 19 August, a total of 42,057 cases of the coronavirus disease have been confirmed, of which 35,226 have recovered.
This was stated on the website of the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia.
At this moment, 5,748 infected individuals are actually receiving treatment for the coronavirus disease. In total, 188,567 tests have been conducted.
Thus, we have 210 new confirmed cases of the coronavirus disease and 244 recovered.
One new death from the coronavirus disease has been recorded (the total number of deaths reached 833).
The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia reported that the deceased patient was a 70-year-old woman who had accompanying chronic diseases.
Four additional cases have been recorded in which patients tested positive for the coronavirus infection, but death occurred due to another illness. The total number of such cases is 249.
