Office of the RA High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs Reviews Its Programs

The Office of the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, Zareh Sinanyan, has stated that a number of programs will be reviewed or suspended. According to Sinanyan, the sending of invitations to participate in the Pan-Armenian World Congress scheduled for September has been suspended for the time being. The Office of the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, Zareh Sinanyan, has stated that a number of programs will be reviewed or suspended.

According to Sinanyan, the sending of invitations to participate in the Pan-Armenian World Congress scheduled for September has been suspended for the time being.

As for the “I Gorts” program, which was to begin on 1 July, it has not yet been suspended.

“We continue to accept applications; we are not canceling the program, but there may be a postponement of deadlines.”

The “Step Toward Home” program, within the framework of which around 800 children were to visit Armenia on 1 June, is still in the phase of adjustments.

“We are following the development of events and an appropriate decision will be made,” said Zareh Sinanyan.
