On 29 July, at approximately 08:40, units of the Azerbaijani armed forces again opened fire in the direction of Armenian positions located in the Gegharkunik section of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, the Armenian Ministry of Defense reports.
“A brief exchange of fire took place; after the actions of the Armenian position-holders, the enemy’s fire was silenced. As a result of the provocations of 29 July, one serviceman of the RA Armed Forces received a gunshot wound. As of 09:30, the situation is calm,” the Ministry stated.
On 29 July, at approximately 03:00, in the Gegharkunik section, Azerbaijani units had again resorted to provocation, opening fire from small arms in the direction of Armenian positions.
