In the Martuni region of Nagorno-Karabakh, on 26 March, one case of violation of the ceasefire regime was recorded. The information was announced by the Russian Ministry of Defence.
“There are no casualties. The forces of the Russian peacekeeping contingent are conducting an investigation into the fact,” the report stated.
It should be noted that on 26 March, the police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Artsakh issued a statement regarding gunfire from Azerbaijani positions in two directions.
After the advance of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces, the peacekeepers took positions on that height.
In the first case, around 10:10 in the morning, irregular gunfire with small arms was opened from the enemy’s positions towards peasants working in the vineyard at a site called “Khzazen tak” in the village of Karmir Shuka in the Martuni region.
On the same day, around 11:05, Azerbaijani servicemen’s gunfire targeted peasants carrying out agricultural work in the wheat field at a site called “Shekheri yeres” in the administrative territory of the village of Taghavard. Fortunately, there were no casualties, but the agricultural work was halted.
