One passenger arriving from Milan to Yerevan has been taken to hospital, while there are no new cases of infection.
In Armenia, the condition of the only patient diagnosed with the coronavirus is good; he has no fever. Citizens quarantined at the Golden Palace hotel also have no complaints.
“Our other 31 citizens, who are residing under special conditions these days, are also feeling well. Those quarantined at the hotel will remain in Tsaghkadzor for another 12 days; they will undergo the coronavirus test twice, and if those tests are also negative, we will send them home,” said Minister of Health Arsen Torosyan in an interview with Azatutyun. At this moment, the citizen who arrived in Yerevan on the February 28 Tehran flight remains the only coronavirus case. At Zvartnots airport, flights from Rome and Milan are under strict surveillance.
“All 69 passengers of the Milan-Yerevan flight that landed at noon today have been checked,” reported Hayk Karapetyan, doctor-epidemiologist at the Zvartnots border medical control point. One passenger arriving from Milan to Yerevan was taken to hospital because a few days ago he had shown signs of a respiratory infection: “One of the passengers had certain health problems, so we took him to hospital for additional examinations.”
Let us recall that this morning, speaking about the overall situation in Armenia, Minister of Health Arsen Torosyan made a brief statement noting that there are no new patients with the coronavirus, and those who are in isolation for known reasons are in good and satisfactory condition.
