The new and turbulent political, economic and cultural processes unfolding in the world once again place the Armenian people and Armenia before new geopolitical realities and obligations.
Particularly conditioned by the threats created in the region, the situation around the Artsakh question and the unfavourable developments threatening its existence demand from us the utmost exertion of united efforts, the development of balanced policies and strategic relations, and the ensuring of peace in the region through the harmonisation of our national interests.
The Armenian Democratic Liberal Party, faithful to its patriotic calling, its sound principles and the sacred struggle waged for the salvation of the Armenian people and the freedom and independence of our integral homeland, today as well, excluding any status for Artsakh within the composition of Azerbaijan, remains unwavering in its mission of standing by Artsakh, making its primary focus the assurance of the right of the Armenians of Artsakh to live in security and preserve their existence in their historic homeland, and the preservation of Artsakh’s territorial integrity and the inviolability of its borders.
It is beyond doubt that today, more than ever, the only means of keeping our homeland, sanctified by the blood of Armenians over the centuries, and the Armenian people free from deadly winds is the creation of national unity.
Therefore, in the turmoil of this emerging new world, as a pledge of national security and a refuge of salvation, we once again call upon all to rally around the interests of Armenia and Artsakh, so that together we may confront this urgent threat, strengthen the stability of our country and statehood, and continue our people’s centuries-old, victorious march.
