The overwhelming majority of Armenian society positively assesses the work of the Armenian army.
During a survey conducted by the International Republican Institute, the overwhelming majority of participants expressed a positive attitude toward the army. The army is followed by the staff of the President of the Republic of Armenia and the staff of the Prime Minister.
91 percent of survey participants expressed a positive view of the army, 8 percent a negative one, and 1 percent said they had no answer.
82 percent of survey participants positively assessed the work of the staff of the President of the Republic of Armenia, 15 percent negatively, and 3 percent said they had no answer.
76 percent of respondents positively assessed the work of the staff of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, 22 percent assessed it negatively, and 1 percent said they had no answer.
74 percent of respondents expressed a positive attitude toward the Armenian Apostolic Church, 21 percent expressed a negative one, and 5 percent said they had no answer.
63 percent of survey participants positively assessed the work of the staff of the Human Rights Defender, 24 percent negatively, and 13 percent chose the option “no answer.”
63 percent of respondents positively assessed the work of the National Assembly and the government. 34 percent assessed the government’s work negatively, and 35 percent assessed parliament’s work negatively.
The majority of survey participants gave a negative assessment to the work of the prosecutor’s office and the courts. 38 percent of respondents positively assessed the work of the prosecutor’s office, and 55 percent negatively. 36 percent of respondents positively assessed the work of the courts, and 57 percent negatively.
The majority of respondents also expressed a negative attitude toward political parties: 42 percent expressed a positive attitude toward political parties, and 52 percent a negative one.
