Armenian Letter Art Included in UNESCO’s Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity

Armenian letter art has been included in UNESCO’s Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. This was announced by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. On 11 December, during the 14th session of the Intergovernmental Committee for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of UNESCO, held in Bogotá, the capital of Colombia, a unanimous decision was taken to include the nomination “Armenian letter art and its cultural expressions,” submitted by Armenia, in UNESCO’s Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
