As of the evening of March 27 and 28 at 12:00, the tactical situation along the entire line of contact, including the eastern section of the line of contact, is relatively stable, with no significant ceasefire violations recorded, reports the Artsakh Information Headquarters.
According to the report, the village of Parukh in the Askeran district is now within the zone of control of the Russian peacekeeping contingent deployed in Artsakh.
“Thanks to the courageous efforts of the Artsakh armed forces, the Armenian side has succeeded in halting the advance of Azerbaijani armed forces units and maintaining control over the main part of Mount Karaglukh,” reports the Artsakh Information Headquarters, noting that Azerbaijani troops continue to remain in fortified positions in one section of Karaglukh.
Work with the command of the Russian peacekeeping contingent regarding the Azerbaijani side’s return to its starting positions continues, the report states.
As a result of negotiations, the Azerbaijani side has carried out the withdrawal of its units from the area of the Parukh settlement, states the report of the Russian Ministry of Defence regarding the mission of Russian peacekeepers in Nagorno-Karabakh.
It is also noted that two cases of ceasefire violation by the Azerbaijani armed forces were recorded in the Askeran district; as a result of the exchange of fire, two people were wounded on each side.
“The command of the Russian peacekeeping contingent, in cooperation with representatives of the conflicting parties, has stabilized the situation,” the report states.
