Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan today sent a congratulatory message to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on the occasion of Ukraine’s Independence Day.
According to the RA government’s Department of Information and Public Relations, the message reads as follows.
“Your Excellency Mr. President,
Please accept my warm congratulations and sincere best wishes on the occasion of Ukraine’s national holiday, Independence Day.
I am confident that through consistent efforts you will succeed in implementing all programs aimed at Ukraine’s development and strengthening.
There is considerable potential in the friendly relations between Armenia and Ukraine, the realization of which serves the interests of our peoples. I am confident that through joint efforts we can give a new quality to the multi-faceted Armenian-Ukrainian cooperation. In this regard, I also emphasize the resumption of the work of the bilateral intergovernmental commission.
The presence and activity of the large Armenian community in Ukraine, with its centuries-old history, and the organized Ukrainian community in Armenia serve as an additional impetus for deepening bilateral friendly ties.
I wish you, Your Excellency Mr. Zelensky, success in all your endeavors and all the best, and to the friendly people of Ukraine, peace and prosperity.”
