The regular combat rotation of the troops of the Republic of Armenia Police recently departed for the border. This was reported by the Department of Public Relations and Information of the RA Police.
They were seen off to their positions by the Chief of Police, Police General Valeri Osipyan.
“You are the heroes of our day. We and the entire nation are proud of you, that alongside our soldiers you stand shoulder to back and protect the state border. Good and trouble-free service,” Valeri Osipyan told the border guards.
After the Chief of Police’s speech, the police officers prayed and swore to selflessly hold the combat position of the state border.
The ceremonial send-off ceremony concluded with a solemn march.
The next day, the police officers who had handed over their combat duty to their fellow servicemen returned from their positions. Valeri Osipyan expressed his gratitude to them for their selfless service.
The police officers returning from the border will rest for a few days, after which they will resume the maintenance of public order.
