Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan had a telephone conversation with President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin. The information was announced by the Prime Minister’s press service.
The Prime Minister conveyed details regarding the provocative, offensive actions initiated by Azerbaijan’s armed forces from midnight in the direction of Armenia’s sovereign territory, which were accompanied by fire from artillery and large-caliber firearms.
Nikol Pashinyan deemed the actions of the Azerbaijani side unacceptable and emphasized the importance of an adequate response from the international community.
The interlocutors agreed to remain in direct contact.
