Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had a telephone conversation with French President Emmanuel Macron.
The Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia stated that Azerbaijan had launched provocative and offensive military operations against the sovereign territory of Armenia, from midnight, in various directions along the border. Nikol Pashinyan expressed deep concern over the situation that has arisen and stressed the importance of an adequate response from the international community.
President Macron deemed any further escalation of tension unacceptable and emphasised the need to defuse the situation.
