The agreements reached in Sochi on the Syrian issue have also addressed the questions related to the security of the Armenians of Syria. The Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, wrote this on his Facebook page.
“I am glad to note that the agreements reached in Sochi on the Syrian issue also address the questions related to the security of the Armenians of Syria, which I had discussed with the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin.
This underscores the strategic-allied nature of the Armenian-Russian relations. We continue to follow the developments taking place in Syria, we continue our humanitarian mission and our support to the civilian population,” wrote Pashinyan.
