Minister of Health Arsen Torosyan, in a Facebook live connection on 11 March, spoke about the health condition of Armenian citizens infected with the coronavirus in Armenia.
“They have been under our control since the moment of their arrival. At that time they had no complaints, but later they appeared. As complaints arose, they were transferred to hospital, where an examination took place, and then we had the confirmation.
Two of them feel healthy, have no complaints, only one has a small right-sided pneumonia, which should pass quickly after symptomatic treatment.
We are now dealing with the isolation of people who have been in contact with these individuals, who had direct contact; they are not many. These patients are considered imported cases. That is, we have no local transmission. The situation continues to remain manageable.”
It should be noted that earlier one case of the coronavirus had been detected in Armenia. Thus, the total number of infected is 4.
