It is expected that in 2019 Armenia’s economic growth may exceed 7%. This was stated by RA Minister of Economy Tigran Khachatryan during a conversation with journalists.
According to him, the RA government has declared a policy of striving for high economic growth and providing the necessary conditions for it. “In the medium term, we believe that Armenia should strive to have double-digit economic growth. In the short-term outlook, it is necessary to ensure a 7-8% indicator,” the minister noted.
At the same time, Tigran Khachatryan said that as a precondition, in order to ensure stable economic growth, it is necessary to create a sufficient level of investment.
The minister noted that today large investments are being made in the fields of renewable energy, construction, processing industry, winemaking, and jewelry.
