Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Ayman Al Safadi, according to the Prime Minister’s Office.
The Prime Minister welcomed the visit of Jordan’s Foreign Minister to Armenia and noted that it imparts new impetus and strength to the friendly relations between the two countries. He particularly emphasized the deepening of economic ties and the implementation of joint investment programs in individual sectors, including the fields of information technology, healthcare, and tourism.
Ayman Al Safadi expressed gratitude for the warm reception and added that his country also values the development and expansion of multifaceted relations with Armenia. Jordan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates expressed confidence that, thanks to the productive meetings held in Armenia, new momentum will be given to bilateral cooperation.
The Prime Minister expressed gratitude to the Jordanian government for demonstrating a balanced position regarding the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. Nikol Pashinyan deemed it inadmissible to impart a religious character to the NK conflict and to present it within that framework on various international platforms.
