The official visit of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan of the Republic of Armenia to Georgia has concluded.
Within the framework of the visit, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan held meetings with Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili and President Salome Zourabichvili of Georgia, paid tribute at Heroes Square in Tbilisi, and attended an official dinner given in honor of the Prime Minister of Armenia by the Prime Minister of Georgia.
Nikol Pashinyan conducted high-level negotiations with Irakli Garibashvili, discussing the agenda of Armenian-Georgian relations. Among the key issues discussed was the prospect of opening an era of stability, peace and development in the region. The interlocutors agreed to expand Armenian-Georgian cooperation and promote regional dialogue through joint efforts and programs. Within this framework, the Prime Minister of Armenia also held a productive meeting with the President of Georgia.
The Prime Minister’s official visit to Georgia concluded in the city of Batumi with an informal meeting with the Prime Minister of Georgia, during which the Prime Minister was presented with programs aimed at the development of tourism and measures intended to improve infrastructure. The Armenian and Georgian counterparts expressed satisfaction with the course of the negotiations and agreed to continue active contacts in both official and informal formats.
This evening, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan returned to Yerevan.
