Today marks the 5th anniversary of the EU CEPA agreement. It is time for the EU to make a decision on liberalizing the entry of RA citizens into the countries of the Schengen area. This was written on his Facebook page by Armenia’s Ambassador-at-Large Edmond Marukyan:
“RA citizens should travel to EU countries without Schengen visas. Armenia has earned that right through its reforms.
The ball is in the EU’s court to make that decision as soon as possible.
I hope that thanks to our efforts, in 2023 we will also reach that important milestone,” he wrote.
