RA Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan has described the December 20 discussion in the UN Security Council regarding the closure of the Lachin corridor, the only road connecting Artsakh to Armenia, by Azerbaijan.
“Yesterday’s discussion in the UN Security Council clearly testifies to a strong and unequivocal international consensus regarding the immediate and unconditional opening of the Lachin corridor blocked by Azerbaijan. The safe and secure connection between Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh must be restored,” Mirzoyan declared.
He wrote this on his Twitter page, adding that Armenia appreciates the fair and principled stance of the members of the UN Security Council.
