The Ministry of Defense plans to hold reserve training assemblies from 1 March to 12 May 2023. The draft decision has been published on the e-draft unified website for the publication of legal acts (regulations) and drafts.
It is planned to involve transport vehicles from bodies with military transport obligations, and the procedures for conducting training assemblies will be defined.
“Taking into account the fact that there is a need to have combat-capable units in the armed forces, staffed with reservists of high professional training and military instruction, as well as transport vehicles, it is expedient to include reservists in training assemblies, involving them in combat duty, and for the provision of training assemblies, to involve transport vehicles from bodies with military transport obligations. To this end, training assemblies are conducted in the armed forces’ military units for the improvement, retraining and training of reservists’ military skills, and the troops are gradually being staffed with more prepared reservists with the necessary military registration specialties,” the draft states.
