On 30 May, the President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, Artur Tovmasyan, received the representatives of the Artsakh Ramgavar Azadagan Party, headed by Chairman Bardugh Galstyan.
The President of the RA National Assembly, welcoming the RAA representatives, said that it is truly encouraging that the RAA, as a traditional party, has its active structure in Artsakh. He expressed confidence that, as a national structure with long-standing experience, cooperation with the Artsakh Ramgavar Azadagan Party will be highly productive. He also emphasised that the Ramgavar Azadagan Party is among those political structures that have played and continue to play a major role, particularly in the important work of Armenian preservation in the diaspora.
Artur Tovmasyan stated that his series of meetings is particularly meaningful in the atmosphere of unity and tolerance with all political forces in Artsakh.
“Our goal is for the work of Parliament to be as transparent and accessible to the public as possible. Before adopting each draft law, we will try to post it on the website in order to hear and discuss the opinions of extra-parliamentary forces and individuals. Man must become a value in Artsakh. We must be humane, and this should not be mere words, but we must prove it through action,” said A. Tovmasyan in particular, and presented the agenda items.
The Chairman of the Artsakh Ramgavar Azadagan Party, Bardugh Galstyan, first expressing gratitude for the reception and the spirit of cooperation, in turn assured that the extra-parliamentary forces are no less devoted to the cause of Artsakh’s development and are ready to use their potential for the sake of the homeland’s development and prosperity.
