The Office of the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs of the Republic of Armenia will hold a Repatriation Week on December 13-19. The seven-day series of events is intended for Armenians of the diaspora who wish to continue their lives in Armenia, are considering repatriation, or are simply unaware of the possibilities of returning to the homeland. This was announced by the Office of the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs of the Republic of Armenia.
According to the source, the Repatriation Week will take place for the first time and will consist of online and offline events, as well as untold photographic and video stories of repatriates.
“A live connection in Western Armenian on December 13 will address the situation of Armenian communities in the Middle East, in a discussion format with repatriates from Lebanon, Syria and Kuwait. On December 14, with a live connection in Spanish, Armenian repatriates from Argentina and Uruguay will speak about opportunities for professional growth in Armenia. On December 15, repatriates from France and Belgium will tell in French about the lifestyle and way of life in Armenia. On December 16, Russian-Armenian repatriates will speak in Russian about the challenges of individual and family repatriation and the possibilities of overcoming them,” the statement said.
According to the source, on December 17, young repatriates will participate in an event for networking and expanding acquaintances at the AGBU Armenian office. It is noted that on December 18, professionals who have arrived in Armenia from the United States of America, Canada and Germany and work remotely from here will present in English the opportunities and advantages of remote work from Armenia for the world. On December 19, the Repatriation Week will conclude with a New Year’s event with the participation of children of repatriate families.
