The Iranian Embassy in Yerevan has denied reports that 160 Armenian servicemen are in Iran.
The Iranian website “Parstoday.com” has circulated the statement of the Iranian Embassy in Yerevan regarding false reports circulating in Armenian media about 160 Armenian servicemen being on Iranian territory.
The quoted statement reads as follows: “The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the Republic of Armenia denies and considers false and baseless the reports circulating in some Armenian media outlets that 160 Armenian soldiers are in Iran, and that the Iranian side has presented preconditions for their return.”
