On Sunday, 3 July 2022, the 27th anniversary of the enthronement of His Holiness Aram I, Catholicos of the Great House of Cilicia and elected Pontiff of the Armenian Church, was celebrated with great solemnity at the Mother See of Antelias.
During the Holy and Immortal Divine Liturgy celebrated at the Cathedral of St. Gregory the Illuminator at the Catholicosate, through the Pontifical Prayer, the members of the brotherhood and the faithful together raised prayers to God, that He keep the Armenian Church unshaken and under His protection, in particular the Catholicosate of the Great House of Cilicia, and grant the Pontiff a long and healthy life and reign, ever keeping his Pontifical See flourishing.
Alongside the faithful and the members of the brotherhood, present at the ceremony were Armenians who had arrived from various communities of the Diaspora, representatives of the highest bodies of the three parties, members of the National Central Board, national and state deputies, and representatives of bodies and unions.
On this occasion, the representatives of the highest bodies of the Social Democrat Hunchakian Party, the Armenian Revolutionary Federation and the Armenian Democratic Liberal Party, in the name of their parties, congratulated the Pontiff on his 27-year reign, wishing His Holiness a long and flourishing tenure, so that under his leadership Armenia may grow stronger, Artsakh be reinforced and the Diaspora remain organized.
