Servicemen of the Russian peacekeeping contingent in Nagorno-Karabakh continue to provide humanitarian and medical assistance to internally displaced persons in Nagorno-Karabakh, the Russian Defense Ministry has reported.
Staff of the humanitarian response center take an individual approach to providing targeted assistance. Residents are given essential goods — clothing and footwear for children and adults, laundry detergents, gas burners for cooking, kitchen utensils, food packages, bedding, pillows, blankets, personal hygiene items, children’s toys, as well as individual medical kits.
In total, from November 2020 to the present day, more than 6,500 needy internally displaced persons who have found themselves in difficult life situations have received humanitarian and medical aid from Russian peacekeepers in Nagorno-Karabakh.
