The situation has been stabilised in two villages of the Hadrut region of Karabakh, where the ceasefire was violated on 11 December, said Lieutenant General Rustam Muradov, commander of the Russian peacekeeping contingent in the Karabakh conflict zone, RIA Novosti reports.
“On 11 December, a violation of the ceasefire regime took place near the settlements of Khtsaberd and Hin Tagher in the Hadrut region, which was halted thanks to the actions of the Russian peacekeepers. At present, the situation in the region has been stabilised. The Russian peacekeepers are carrying out constant monitoring of the situation and maintaining interaction with the Armenian and Azerbaijani forces,” Muradov reported.
