Armenia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Zohrab Mnatsakanyan and Russia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergey Lavrov had a telephone conversation. This was reported on the official website of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The statement noted that the focus was on the search for ways out of the situation created in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone. The Russian side expressed concern over the rise in the number of civilian casualties.
The readiness to return the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict settlement to the political-diplomatic field, in line with the joint statement of the presidents of Russia, the United States and France, under the auspices of the OSCE Minsk Group, was reaffirmed.
