The Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, has announced that snap parliamentary elections will be held in Armenia on June 20. The Prime Minister wrote this on his Facebook page.
“A short while ago I met with the leader of the ‘Prosperous Armenia’ faction, Gagik Tsarukyan. During the meeting we noted that the best way out of the current domestic political situation is snap parliamentary elections.
Taking into account also my discussions with the President of the Republic of Armenia, with the ‘My Step’ faction, and with the leader of the ‘Bright Armenia’ faction, Edmon Marukyan, snap parliamentary elections will be held in the Republic of Armenia on June 20 of this year,” wrote the Prime Minister.
