“Preventive measures continue to be taken in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus infection and to protect servicemen from infection.

Disinfection operations are being carried out in military units.  Soldiers heading to combat rotation undergo mandatory medical examination and are provided with disinfectants. The military systems and weaponry involved in combat duty are also being disinfected.

No cases of coronavirus infection have been recorded in the Armenian army. All necessary anti-epidemic measures are being taken to keep the army free from the virus,” the statement said.
