Spain Urges Azerbaijan: Withdraw Troops from Armenia

The Foreign Affairs Committee of Spain’s Congress of Deputies has adopted a motion urging the government to demand from Azerbaijan’s authorities: • To implement the agreement of 9 November 2020 • To treat prisoners of war humanely and immediately release all Armenian civilians and military personnel held in Azerbaijan with prisoner-of-war status • To provide information on all persons held in Azerbaijan • To withdraw troops from Armenia’s Syunik province.
