Special forces of Armenia, Greece and Cyprus have completed the joint Close Quarter Battle 2021 exercises. According to Armenpress, this was reported by the Greek City Times website.
The purpose of the joint exercises was to increase the combat readiness and interoperability of special operations forces in combat conditions. The training included rapid-response combat shooting, neutralisation of moving targets, night and urban combat, and operations with the dead and wounded in residential neighbourhoods.
“Such exercises, together with the Trilateral Cooperation programme between Greece, Cyprus and Armenia, reflect the excellent cooperation of the armed forces of the three countries,” the Cypriot Ministry of Defence announced.
