RA Ministry of Defense spokesperson Artsrun Hovhannisyan made the following post on his Facebook page.
“I have addressed on several occasions the issue that naming specific positions, lines, or even settlements is not appropriate at this stage of the war. The war is fierce; the Armenian army is fighting heavy battles against Turkish-Azerbaijani forces several times its size, which are fully supported by the Turkish air force, intelligence and other systems, large numbers of mercenaries, terrorists, and private military organizations. The Armenian army is resisting those superior forces with great success, a success that even world experts are noting.
According to tactical necessity, the defense army is carrying out both retreats and changes of lines, as well as attacks and counterattacks.
Let us trust our army; we will undoubtedly #WeWillWin.”
