There are closed and difficult-to-pass roads in Armenia

The Ministry of Emergency Situations informs that as of 10:00 on 29 January, there are difficult-to-pass roads in the territory of the Republic of Armenia. The Vardenyats pass is open to all types of vehicles, while for trucks with trailers it is passable only with the use of snow chains. The Sotk-Karvachar road is difficult to pass for all types of vehicles, while for trucks with trailers it is passable only with the use of snow chains. The Ministry of Emergency Situations informs that as of 10:00 on 29 January, there are difficult-to-pass roads in the territory of the Republic of Armenia.

The Vardenyats pass is open to all types of vehicles, while for trucks with trailers it is passable only with the use of snow chains.

The Sotk-Karvachar road is difficult to pass for all types of vehicles, while for trucks with trailers it is passable only with the use of snow chains.

On all roads of Syunik Province, there is ice in places.

According to information received from the Emergency Situations Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Centre of North Ossetia of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open to all types of vehicles.

Drivers are advised to drive exclusively with winter tyres.
