Speaking at the emergency session of the UN Security Council, Armenia’s Permanent Representative to the UN Mher Margaryan noted that while they were speaking about the situation on Armenia’s border during the session, reports had been received that the fragile ceasefire was under threat.
“There is credible information that Azerbaijan is planning another military attack, expanding the geography of aggression, including in the direction of Nakhichevan, in order to realize Azerbaijan’s illegal claims to create an extraterritorial corridor through the sovereign territory of the Republic of Armenia,” Margaryan warned.
