Armenian Defense Minister Davit Tonyan does not consider justified the rumors that he is preparing to resign. Tonyan said this during a briefing with journalists at the National Assembly.
Referring to a journalist’s observation that, according to rumors, he is preparing to resign, Tonyan said there is no such thing. “The rumors are not justified,” Tonyan said.
To the question of whether he had held such discussions with the Prime Minister, Tonyan replied: “none whatsoever.”
Referring to his relations with Nikol Pashinyan, Tonyan noted that there can be no disagreements.
He also noted that no dismissals of high-ranking officials are expected at the Ministry of Defense.
