US City of Glendale Recognizes the Independence of Artsakh

The city of Glendale in the United States has recognized the independence of the Republic of Artsakh. The city council adopted the resolution recognizing independence unanimously during a session held remotely. The resolution recognizing the independence of Artsakh was authored by Glendale Mayor Vrej Aghajanyan. From 27 September 2020 to the present, Armenian schools, hospitals, churches and homes in Artsakh and Armenia have been subjected to attack by Turkey and Azerbaijan, which aim to continue the genocide,” the resolution states.
