President of the Republic of Armenia Armen Sarkissian has signed a decree appointing Vagharshak Harutyunyan Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to Russia.
“Based on the Prime Minister’s proposal, in accordance with Article 132, Part 1, Point 2 of the Constitution, as well as Part 1 of Article 14 of the Law on Diplomatic Service, appoint Vagharshak Harutyunyan Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to the Russian Federation (residence: Moscow),” reads the presidential decree.
The President has also signed a decree recalling Vardan Toganyan from the post of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to the Russian Federation.
