Today the Human Rights Defender of Armenia has obtained two videos and photographs showing the inhuman, cruel treatment of Armenian prisoners by the Azerbaijani armed forces. The RA Human Rights Defender Arman Tatoyan wrote about this on his Facebook page.
“Today the Human Rights Defender of Armenia has obtained two videos and photographs showing the inhuman, cruel treatment of Armenian prisoners by the Azerbaijani armed forces.
In those videos, Azerbaijani military personnel subject people to the utmost humiliation, and then kill them brutally with exceptional cynicism. The conduct and speech of the representatives of the Azerbaijani armed forces are filled with hatred.
These videos were circulated today through Azerbaijani sources, also targeting children and the elderly.
Subsequently, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence issued a denial claiming they have no connection to the videos. After that, Azerbaijani sources on the internet began removing the videos.
The staff of the Human Rights Defender of Armenia, however, documented all the sources in a timely manner.
The experts of the Human Rights Defender’s staff have also precisely located the place and time of the commission of the Azerbaijani criminal acts. A translation of the speech used has been made, which is recorded in the videos.
The videos and photographs have already received the necessary legal registration as irrefutable legal evidence testifying to a war crime.
The videos and photographs, with the necessary description, will be sent tomorrow morning to international bodies, according to their jurisdiction,” he wrote.
