“Today we need to stop the military operations in Karabakh, and in this regard Russia’s role remains extremely high. Unfortunately, today we cannot say that we have a full ceasefire in practice. Literally before my arrival here, I was continuing to receive reports that Azerbaijan is not fulfilling its commitment regarding the ceasefire.” This was stated by Armenian Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan before a closed meeting in Moscow with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
He also expressed gratitude, emphasizing that he highly appreciates the contribution of Russian President Vladimir Putin and Russia towards easing the tension. Mnatsakanyan reported that despite the ceasefire agreement reached, Azerbaijan is not fulfilling its commitment and continues military operations, including against the civilian population.
Mnatsakanyan then spoke about Turkey’s participation in the military operations, once again recording the fact of the involvement of mercenary terrorists from Syria.
