Organized by the three Armenian political parties — the SDHP, the ARF and the ADL — a gathering expressing support for the people of Artsakh took place on Monday evening, 19 December, at the Hagop Ter Melkonian Theatre Hall.
After the listening of the anthems of Lebanon, Armenia and Artsakh, the opening remarks of the gathering were delivered by Gali Avakian, who also presented the program. Subsequently, online remarks were made by Arthur Tovmasyan, President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Artsakh, and Artak Beglaryan, Advisor to the State Minister of the Republic of Artsakh. Then soprano Shoghik Torosyan performed the song “Song of Remembrance.”
The message of the day was conveyed on behalf of the three parties by Zakari Keshishian, and Ani Yepremian recited the poem “Artsakh.” The event concluded with the victory anthem “Sardarapat.”
