These days we are witnessing in Artsakh the active process of state and governmental appointments characteristic of the post-election period, being carried out by the country’s newly elected President Arayik Harutyunyan.
Notable is the President’s message addressed to various political forces and individual figures, particularly regarding the assumption of joint responsibility for the country’s future and overcoming difficulties with combined efforts, and in that light, the new cadre appointments made.
Believing that at this important and historic stage for the Armenian people such an approach will contribute to the important work of forming a unified agenda around nationwide issues and establishing stability in the country, the ADL greatly welcomes Mr. Harutyunyan’s efforts to form a new culture of political cooperation and this prudent call to jointly assume responsibility for the country’s future.
Undoubtedly, at the present stage, given the global and regional challenges and, within that context, the deepening dangers surrounding Artsakh, it is very important that every political figure fully place their professional knowledge and years of accumulated political experience at the service of Artsakh’s security and prosperity.
In this regard, we particularly positively assess the positive response of those figures who have heeded the President’s extended hand and his call to jointly overcome the problems facing statehood and who are ready to assume commitment toward the country’s future.
We assure that the ADL, for its part, with its diaspora structures, will steadfastly continue to provide unwavering support for the sake of Artsakh’s democratic and prosperous vision.
We are hopeful that thanks to this wise policy, a climate of solidarity in intergovernmental work and a high level of cooperation will be formed.
We wish everyone effective work and every success in this important mission.
