Armenia’s national airline, Fly Arna, will operate two direct weekly flights to the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, starting March 22. The information was announced by the company’s press service.
“The launch of the regular Yerevan-Baghdad-Yerevan route at affordable prices will greatly contribute to the growth of new tourist flows to Armenia. The twice-weekly flights will also allow the Armenian community of Iraq to make their ties with the homeland even more stable and comprehensive, offering them a more convenient and accessible opportunity to travel to Armenia,” said Fly Arna spokesperson Gayane Antonyan.
The flights will operate on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Tickets can be booked through Fly Arna’s official website, call center (+374 41 38 00 83), or travel agencies.
It should be noted that Fly Arna is a joint project of the Armenian National Interests Fund (ANIF) and Air Arabia, and has been operating since June of last year.
