The State Revenue Committee has published the list of the 1000 largest taxpayers for 2022. Armenia’s largest taxpayer continues to be the Zangezur Copper-Molybdenum Combine, which paid approximately 144 billion drams in taxes annually.
The second largest taxpayer is Gazprom Armenia, with 52.2 billion drams in taxes paid annually.
Third place is held by Grand Tobacco, engaged in tobacco production and export, with taxes paid amounting to 45 billion drams.
In fourth place is International Masis Tabak, fifth is the Agarak Copper-Molybdenum Combine, the sixth largest taxpayer is Philip Morris Armenia, Mobile Center Art is seventh, JTI Armenia is eighth, C.P.S. Energy Group is ninth, and the top ten of large taxpayers is rounded out by MTS Armenia.
The State Revenue Committee stated that during January-December 2022, the 1000 largest taxpayers paid a total of more than 1 trillion 490 billion 115 million drams to the state budget. The amount of payments made to the tax authority amounted to more than 1 trillion 185 billion 839 million drams, while the amount of payments made to the customs authority was more than 304 billion 275 million drams.
