As of 11:00 on 8 May, a total of 3,029 cases of coronavirus disease have been confirmed in Armenia, of which 1,218 have recovered.
This was stated on the website of the National Centre for Disease Control and Prevention of the RA Ministry of Health.
At this time, 1,758 infected individuals are actually receiving treatment for coronavirus disease. In total, 29,205 tests have been conducted. Thus, there are 145 newly confirmed cases of coronavirus disease and 33 recoveries.
In total, 43 deaths from coronavirus disease have been recorded (an increase of 1).
The RA Ministry of Health reported that the deceased patient was a 48-year-old woman who had accompanying chronic diseases.
One more death has been recorded in which the patient tested positive for coronavirus infection, but death resulted from another illness. The total number of such cases is 10.
